Brooks Heritage is going way back into its catalog for its next offering. The label will release the Beast 1 silhouette, originally launched in 1993, in limited quantities the day after Christmas.
The Beast 1 will retail for $140 and be available at two of the brand’s global retail partners, Concepts domestically and Sneakersnstuff in Eupope. The shoe will get a larger release as part of the brand’s spring ’16 line, hitting stores in February.
“The re-release of the Beast is a huge milestone for Brooks Heritage,” said Shane Downey, global director of Brooks Heritage, in a statement.
“The Beast is a pillar of the Brooks brand, and bringing the original model back as a sneaker is a leading example of the rooted-in-run authenticity the Heritage Collection stands for.”
For the lifestyle-sneaker fan, the shoe’s look is vintage ’90s, featuring simple color combinations and a two-color lugged outsole. Fans of running shoes will also be intrigued by this release, as this is the brand’s first full-on stability shoe.
The Beast 1 features a molded TPU heel counter and logo, air mesh vamp and a quarter-pebbled-leather upper, with a compression-molded EVA midsole.
