The Rio Olympic Games have officially come to a close, but the celebratory sneaker releases aren’t quite finished yet. This weekend, Jordan Brand will cap off the summer games with the release of the “Metallic Gold” Air Jordan 11 Low.
This premium release gives the Air Jordan 11 Low’s signature patent leather overlay a shimmering metallic gold finish representing Rio’s top prize. Elsewhere, the Air Jordan 11 Low’s usual mesh upper is replaced with a white tumbled leather. Black appears at the liner and woven tongue label, and this colorway is finished off with an icy translucent sole.
In other Olympic-themed sneaker news, Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 5 “Gold Medal” last weekend, and as of 1:30 p.m. ET, they are still available from SNKRS for $190.
As for the Air Jordan 11 Low “Gold Medal” featured here, this pair will arrive on Saturday for $170 via SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers. Unlike last week’s Air Jordan 5 general release, the Air Jordan 11 Low will have limited availability, so you may want to check with your local stores to confirm they’ll be receiving the sneakers.
