Celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month With Gear From Brands That Give Back

June marks the start of LGBTQ Pride Month, and along with the parades and parties come countless products in kaleidoscopic hues. Brands and retailers are amping up their messaging of inclusivity, charity and sense of purpose with their Pride collections.

Here, we’ve rounded up companies that have Pride-themed gear with charitable components that support causes that impact LGBTQ people. Check back for updates.

Abercrombie & Fitch

Abercrombie & Fitch collaborated with The Trevor Project, a suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ youths, on a 24-piece gender-inclusive collection for adults featuring T-shirts, shorts, hoodies, jackets, sandals, hats, socks and more. The partners also created an 11-piece gender-inclusive kids’ collection. Recognizing the spectrum of LGBTQ identities, the lines feature tie dye, paint splatter and gradient versions of the Pride “Progress Flag” colors, which pay tribute to BIPOC, trans and HIV-positive members of the LGBTQ community with the addition of brown, black, pink, white and light blue to the rainbow. How it supports the LGBTQ community: Abercrombie & Fitch will be making an initial $200,000 donation to The Trevor Project.

As part of its 2021 Love Unites collection, the Three Stripes is giving some of its silhouettes with colorful graphics, including the Forum Low, Nizza, Nizza Slip-On and Adilette 2.0 available to purchase at select retailers and on Adidas.com beginning May 15. The footwear ranges in price from $50 to $100. The collection’s message emphasizes love, truth and connection via “love unites” emblazoned across the styles.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: Though not tied to product sales, Adidas is supporting Athlete Ally, which champions LGBTQ inclusion in sports, and Stonewall through financial contributions and the development of long-term sustainable programming.

Banana Republic

For Pride 2021, Banana Republic has released a collection that represents “acceptance, individuality and a message of equality for all,” according to the brad. The 17-piece capsule features T-shirts, shorts, socks and a pin available on Bananarepublic.com.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: For 2021, Banana Republic continues its partnership with the United Nations Foundation in support of the UN Free & Equal Campaign (UNFE) for LGBTI equality with a $60,000 donation.

Lightweight and comfy, Blundstone has given its Chelsea boot a Pride flag makeover. The brand’s 2105 Rainbow boots feature multicolored stitching and elasticated gussets that are bursting with color. The shoes retail for $189.95 on Blundstone.com.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: Blundstone will make a financial donation to Queer | Art, a NYC-based organization that’s dedicated to the development of LGBTQIA+ artists.

Bombas’ latest Pride collection for 2021 honors the diverse experiences, stories and intersectionalities within the LGBTQ+ community. Available at Bombas.com with a price range of $12 to $124, the capsule features everything from signature socks to symbolic T-shirts, tote bags and even underwear.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: Keeping with its main mission of “One Purchased=One Donated,” the brand will be donating a specially-designed item to those in need within the LGTBQ+ community. To do so, Bombas will work with Casa Ruby, Mozaic and the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico.

Brooks Brothers

Brooks Brothers is celebrating Pride month with a limited-edition collection that includes a fleece logo T-shirt priced at $49.50, a pocket square priced at $55 and a tie priced at $89.50. The styles are inspired by the rainbow colors of the Pride flag and available on Brooksbrothers.com and select stores. 

How it supports the LGBTQ community: 100% of the purchase price from the capsule collection benefit GLSEN, a national education organization whose mission is to ensure all LGBTQ+ students are able to learn and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

“Pride Is Where You Find It” is Coach’s 2021 theme for its Pride Month campaign and collection. The capsule includes bags, T-shirts, shoes, a scarf and a hangtag, featuring a rainbow treatment of its iconic Signature pattern. The lineup runs from $55 to $495, while the footwear, including sneakers and slides, runs from $85 to $150 on Coach.com.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: The Coach Foundation topped off the collection with donations to LGBTQ+ organizations: the Hetrick-Martin Institute that provides community and basic supplies to LGBTQ youth; the Albert Kennedy Trust, a British organization aiding LGBTQ youths living in homelessness or hostile environments, and the Point Foundation, which empowers LGBTQ students to achieve their full potential and CenterLink Community of LGBTQ Centers, a non-profit association of LGBTQ centers.

Embarking on its sixth anniversary celebrating Pride, Converse announced its 2021 capsule featuring the Chuck 70, Chuck Taylor All Star shoes in low and high-top versions, the Run Star Hike and slides available on Converse.com. All styles in the collection also showcase the brand’s new Pride graphic, which includes mountain and floral details made to “explore the duality of struggle and joy along the journey to self-love,” according to Converse. 

How it supports the LGBTQ community: Converse will be donating a portion of LGBTQIA+ community funding from the brand’s ongoing partnership with the It Gets Better Project [IGBP] to support the organization’s education initiatives on TikTok and Twitch to empower young LGBTQIA+ people. Additionally, the brand will supply annual grants to its longtime partners Ali Forney CenterBAGLY and OUT MetroWest, whose work helps protect and uplift LGBTQIA+ youth through social justice and advocacy programs.

Dick’s Sporting Goods

Dick’s Sporting Goods has launched its #PlayWithPride campaign that includes empowering handwritten letters from WNBA Forward Elena Delle Donne, tennis legend Billie Jean King and more athletes that are meant to inspire future LGBTQ+ athletes to “always play with pride and help drive inclusivity for all within sport.” In addition to the campaign, the retailer has curated Pride Month gear from brands like Teva, Bombas, Vans and more.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: Dick’s Sporting Goods included 19 LGBTQ athlete role models to help encourage inclusivity in sports throughout its social media campaign.

The Rainbow Disney 2021 collection includes a range of multicolored apparel and accessories for children and adults, including matching sweat sets, polo shirts, mugs, face masks, hats and more. Products are available now on ShopDisney.com as well as at Disney stores.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: In honor of Pride Month, The Walt Disney Company will also be donating funds to various LGBTQ+ organizations, including GLSEN, a national education organization whose mission is to ensure all LGBTQ+ students are able to learn and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

Dockers’ fourth annual Pride collection is titled “United By Love” and brings together five gender-inclusive styles. The brand’s capsule includes a tank top, T-shirt, button-down, drawstring cargo shorts and a drawstring backpack. All come in a neutral-toned floral print, adorned with rainbow details. The 2021 collection is available May 19 at Dockers.com, retailing from $22 to $58.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: Dockers continues its partnership through Pride month and beyond with the Stonewall Community Foundation (SCF), a non-profit organization that focuses on strengthening the LGBTQ+ community within New York City and around the world, in addition to SCF’s Black Futures Fund (BFF). The BFF centers on the Black LGBTQ+ experience and innovation that furthers SCF’s initiative to build a national community of Black LGBTQ+ visionaries, creators and movement makers.

Dr. Martens

For 2021, the footwear brand’s classic 1461 oxford gets a subtle treatment, complete with Pride flag colors on the heel tab and other small details. Finished with multi-tonal stitching, the shoe is currently available on Drmartens.com for $120. The brand is also offering rainbow laces and colorful socks.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: In association with their Pride 1461 oxford, Doc Martens will be donating $100,000 to The Trevor Project — one of the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organizations for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning youths.

For Pride Month, Evolvetogether is transforming its beloved face mask design for yet another meaningful cause. Launching for June is the Human iteration of its white mask, accented with colors of the rainbow and the global coordinates of Hyde Park where London’s first Pride march took place. GAP x Pride’s 2021 capsule from its GAP Collective series spotlights designs by artists Star Casimir​, Rachel Lindsey, and Abayomi “AC” Carey, who are all members of G.E.A.R., Gap Inc.’s employee resource group that creates an inclusive and supportive environment. How it supports the LGBTQ community: To celebrate the capsule, GAP is donating $50,000 to GLAAD, a leading media advocacy organization working to accelerate acceptance for the LGBTQ community.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: Happy Socks is donating 10% of net sales from the collection to go towards InterPride, the international association of Pride events worldwide. The contribution helps the Solidarity Fund, which assists Pride organizations in hostile environments and areas of crisis and conflict.

Your summer footwear just got all the more colorful thanks to Havaianas’ Pride collection. The Brazilian sandal brand released its newest Pride capsule of signature flip flops featuring a refreshing rainbow reconfiguration. How it supports the LGBTQ community: The brand pledged an ongoing donation of 7% of all the proceeds from the pride collection sales to All Out, a global organization working towards equality, safety, freedom and dignity for all across the world.

Kat Maconie is celebrating the courageous milestones that the LGBTQ+ community has accomplished over the years with sandals that are bursting with color and texture.

Kennth Cole

For its 2021 Pride collection, Kenneth Cole released a capsule of apparel, footwear and accessories — at KennethCole.com — with a message celebrating that “being different is what we have in common.” The sneakers include the Kam silhouette with a rainbow stripe at the counter. Other colorful, Pride-flag accents are featured throughout the capsule. Prices from $28-$120.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: A portion of sales will be donated to The Mental Health Coalition, which offers mental health support and resources for LGBTQ communities.

Show your pride however you want to with Koio’s mix-and-match Pride Month sneaker. The brand’s Capri shoes feature embroidered wool-terry Velcro patches that spell out “family,” split as “FAM” on one side and “ILY” on the other. Two patches are done in rainbow; two are pink as a nod to the Pink Triangle, a reclaimed tribute for gay pride in the ’70s; and two are debossed patches that incorporate an iridescent finish. K-Swiss partners with NOH8 for the second time for its 2021 Pride Month sneaker. The new shoe sees the Classic LX silhouette get an iridescent rainbow remaking. The clear outsole features “equallity” spelled with two LLs to symbolize equality for all. The K-Swiss LX x NOH8 is available for $90 on Kswiss.com. They’ll also be available on Footlocker.com, Champssports.com and Footaction.com starting June 16.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: K-Swiss will donate $90,000 of product to NOH8, which promotes equality and fights discrimination. Additionally, Foot Locker, Inc. will be contributing $10,000.

Larroudé has released a capsule of styles that take inspiration from the LGBTQ flag. Bursting with color, floral prints adorn the Miso Rainbow platform sandal ($290) and Colette Rainbow mule ($280), both done in patent leather.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: From each pair sold throughout June, $20 will be donated to The Center NYC, which provides programs for health, wellness and community connection to LGBTQ people in NYC.

Levi’s is taking messages of inclusion and respect into a centering theme for its 2021 Pride collection, which highlights the cultural conversation around gender pronouns. Available now on Levi.com, the collection ranges from $18 to $148 and includes rainbow prints, overalls, a jumpsuit, two graphic tees, a tank, a relaxed graphic crew and hats.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: For the third year, Levi’s joins forces with OutRight Action International, a nonprofit working to advance LGBTQ+ rights across the world. The brand announced it plans to donate 100% of net proceeds from its Pride collection to the organization.

For Pride month, Madewell’s latest collaboration is with American fine artist, author and illustrator Lisa Congdon. Featuring T-shirts and trousers, the love-inspired items range from $20-$160 on Madewell.com beginning June 1.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: Sales of the collection will contribute 50% to the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), which seeks to champion everyone’s individual rights and liberties.

Michael Kors

Rainbows and hearts adorn Michael Kors’ 2021 Pride collection, which launches June 1 online and in stores. The brand’s capsule includes bedazzled slides, flip flops and sneakers. It also features apparel and accessories.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: As part of the release, 100% of sales from June 1-30 of the special-edition gender-neutral Pride T-shirt ($68) will support OutRight Action International, an organization dedicated to global human rights for LGBTIQ+ people.

Neiman Marcus

Neiman Marcus Group — parent to Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman — has created 1,000 limited-edition “More Colors, More Pride” lapel pins inspired by the More Color, More Pride flag. (The flag, which features brown and black stripes, is designed to highlight intersectional identities, including LGBTQ people of color). Retailing for $15 each, the pins are available online and in 10 select Neiman Marcus stores. Locations are listed at neimanmarcusgroup.com.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: Every dollar from sales of the pins will be donated to the Human Rights Campaign (HRC).

NMG is also accepting point-of-sale donations to the HRC. Additionally, NMG has made corporate donations to The Trevor Project and True Colors United supporting LGBTQ Homeless youth. And, throughout June, nearly all Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman stores will showcase Pride-themed window and curated product displays, as well as in-store visuals in support of Pride month.

New Balance

New Balance is celebrating Pride month in vibrant colors. The brand tapped Hong Kong visual artist Zoie Lam to express a message of “warmth and empathy and underline our belief that everybody is welcome, no matter how you identify,” in a capsule collection New Balance said. The lineup features shorts a jacket and two shoe styles. The Fresh Foam Tempo ($120) and the 574 ($160) get the colorful makeovers. The collection will release on June 1 at NewBalance.com.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: New Balance has committed to donating $100,000 over two years in support GLSEN’s “Changing the Game” program, which is being relaunched to create safe spaces in locker rooms and on-field. GLSEN is a national education organization whose mission is to ensure all LGBTQ+ students are able to learn and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

Falling under its BP brand, Nordstrom announced it will be releasing a capsule of gender-inclusive styles ranging from apparel to accessories to celebrate all things Pride. The “BP. Be Proud” collection ranges from $25-$59 at Nordstrom.com.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: Nordstrom plans to donate 10% of net sales from its “BP. Be Proud” collection to Trans Lifeline, directed toward its peer support and crisis hotline, and microgrants providing financial resources directly to transgender people across the U.S. and Canada. Nordstrom hopes to give $350,000 in support of the Transgender community. Nordstrom provides grants and funding to LGBTQIA+ organizations like the Hetrick-Martin Institute, Pride Foundation God’s Love We Deliver, Human Rights Campaign and more year-round.

Cara Delevingne co-designed Puma’s 2021 Pride collection, which follows the theme Forever Free. The brand has a Pride-themed version of its Suede sneaker with a multicolored stripe, as well as a NYC Clyde leather sneaker with a vibrant rainbow sole. There’s also a chunky training sneaker with a rainbow squiggle, and Leadcat slides featuring a rainbow Puma logo. The collection additionally offers two black trainer styles and several tops made in collaboration with The OUT Foundation, which is dedicated to removing the barriers that block LGBTQ+ individuals’ access and participation in fitness, health and wellness. The collection ranges from $25 to $95 and is available on Puma.com.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: Puma will donate 20% of the collection’s proceeds towards the Cara Delevingne Foundation to support various LGBTQIA+ global charities.

Ralph Lauren

From apparel, socks and fragrance to accessories like the debut of the brand’s Pride eyewear, Ralph Lauren’s 2021 gender-neutral Pride collection has it all. The brand transformed its iconic logo with a rainbow coating and is retailing the capsule in May at RalphLauren.com.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: 100% of the purchase price from the sale of each Polo shirt, and 25% of the purchase price from the sale of each graphic tee, sweatshirt, flag sweater, fanny pack, baseball cap, and socks will be donated to Stonewall Community Foundation.  Additionally, Ralph Lauren Fragrances will continue to offer its limited-edition Pride packaging on select fragrances along with a supplemental donation to the Stonewall Community Foundation, and Ralph Lauren Eyewear is introducing its first Pride eyewear, where 25% of the purchase price will be donated to Stonewall Community Foundation. The organization brings together members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as allies, donors, volunteers and more.

Reebok is celebrating ballroom culture with its newest Pride collection featuring unisex apparel and footwear that include rainbow designs and graphics as well as Progress Pride Flag product tags. The shoe styles getting a Pride makeover include the Classic Leather, Club-C, InstaPump Fury OG, Zig Kinetica II, Nano X1, and Floatride Energy 3.0.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: In addition to the collection, Reebok is donating $75,000 to the Sylvia Rivera Law Project, which is an organization that works to guarantee that all people are free to self-determine their gender identity and expression, regardless of income or race, and without facing harassment, discrimination, or violence.

For 2021, Reef is launching its third annual Pride collection with looks for both men and women. The brand’s Scout slides come with rainbow accents; they retail for $45 and will be available June 2 on Reef.com.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: For every pair purchased, the brand is pledging to donate 50% of the proceeds from Reef.com to PFLAG, the first and largest organization focused on the LGBTQ+ people, their families, and allies.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: The lifestyle brand is a corporate partner of PFLAG and has donated to the organization, which is the first and largest organization focused on LGBTQ+ people, their families and allies.

The collection includes LGBTQ rainbow flag colors and items such as bandanas and socks that include the transgender, bisexual and pan pride flag hues on Target.com.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: Though not tied to the sales of the collection, Target announced a donation of $100,000 for the 10th year in a row to GLSEN, a leading education organization working to create safe and inclusive schools for LGBTQ youth with a mission to end discrimination, harassment and bullying based on sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as well as to prompt LGBT cultural inclusion and awareness in K-12 schools.

Teva is celebrating individuality, self-expression and equality with its collection of all-gender rainbow sandals that give its popular silhouettes a Pride flag-inspired makeover. The Pride Pack even extends to pet accessories. Prices for footwear range from $40 to $60 on Teva.com.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: Teva will make a $35,000 donation to the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, an organization that’s dedicated to encouraging the adoption of LGBTQ-inclusive policies and practices.

Toms’ Unity collection 2021 celebrates all forms of love with colorful upgrades to its best-selling silhouettes. They feature Pride-inspired details like rainbows and the words “Love Wins,” “Unity” and “Pride” with shoe styles retailing from $55 to $60 on Toms.com. The collection also includes sunglasses with gradient lenses and rainbow-colored frames, socks and face masks.

How it supports the LGBTQ community: Vans announced a $200,000 donation to LGBTQ+ causes split between GLSEN, Casa 1, Where Love is Illegal and Tokyo Rainbow Pride.
