Christmas Day Movie Openings: Who Wore What?

It’s the day after Christmas, which means the box office has been hit hard.

Many movies opened on Christmas, one of the biggest movie days of the year, from Amy Adams’ “Big Eyes” to Bradley Cooper’s “American Sniper.” Musical “Into the Woods” — starring Meryl Streep, Chris Pine, Anna Kendrick and Emily Blunt — was also a much-anticipated family film to see this holiday.

And after a month of controversy and terrorist threats with Sony’s “The Interview,” select theaters have released the film.

With Christmas day movie releases comes the premieres. Just last week, many of these films rolled out the red carpet for their Hollywood and NYC premieres.
