Last month, Nike and Converse have unveiled their latest collection made in collaboration with the upcoming film “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” which featured a range of new sneaker and apparel styles arriving soon. Despite this, there was a shoe left out in the previews.
Hitting shelves this week is the Space Jam x Converse Run Star Motion, the brand’s newest silhouette for its stylish and comfy CX line.
The inspiration behind the Run Star Motion’s design is the acclaimed Run Star Hike as the upper is reminiscent of the original shoe but is now equipped with drop-in CX Foam midsoles for all-day comfort as well as a new outsole design featuring lugs for traction.
This collaborative “Space Jam” iteration of the Run Star Motion wears a galactic “Server-verse” print throughout the satin upper combined with a bold orange Converse All Star patch on the medial side and a matching tongue tag. Rounding out the look is a white CX foam midsole and a blue and black rubber outsole.
The “Space Jam: A New Legacy” x Converse Run Star Motion will be released at Converse.com at 10 a.m. ET and at select Converse retailers this Friday. The shoe will come with a $125 price tag.
