After teasing the shoe in May with the help of Dallas Wings forward Satou Sabally, fans will finally be able to get their hands on the next Air Jordan sneaker soon.
The athletic brand revealed yesterday via the Nike SNKRS app that the Air Jordan 36 will hit shelves before month’s end. The debut colorway of Michael Jordan’s latest signature shoe is made specifically for Jordan Brand athlete and Boston Celtics All-Star forward Jayson Tatum. According to the shoe’s product description, the style “celebrates Tatum’s basketball journey from the playground to the pros.”
The Air Jordan 36 SE “Tatum” wears a blue void, white, and university red color scheme. The clean white hue works its way throughout the textile mesh upper that’s combined with a wraparound TPU ribbon throughout the midfoot providing wearers with side-to-side stability. Adding to the aesthetic is an obsidian-colored tongue with Tatum’s signature logo stamped on the left shoe and the Jumpman branding on the right. Rounding out the design is the double-stacked Zoom Air cushioning in the midsole and a translucent outsole.
The Air Jordan 36 SE “Tatum” will be available starting on July 24 at 10 a.m. ET via SNKRS and at select Jordan Brand retailers for a retail price of $185.
