If you’re someone who’s always looking for a good excuse to go shoe shopping, look no further than the QVC Presents FFANY Shoes on Sale event happening right now.
Not only does the event feature huge mark downs on hundreds of name brand styles for women and men, but 70% of the proceeds from each purchase go toward the Fashion Footwear Charitable Foundation of New York (FFCF). The footwear industry has been uniting to support this charity for the past 28 years, and QVC has been a long-running partner. They have raised $59.5 million that has gone toward funding breast cancer research and education. QVC will air coverage of the sale on Oct. 12 at 5 p.m. ET, with additional activations featured on social media channels.
While the sale usually brings with it a star-studded black tie gala hosted in New York City, it was canceled in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. That said, this cancellation allowed the organization to donate a full 95% of its raised funds directly to its beneficiaries, which include the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the Penn Medicine Abramson Cancer Center, Cedars Sinai, the Siteman Cancer Center and more. While the president of the FFCF acknowledged that the proceeds were significantly lower in 2020 due to the pandemic, they are hopeful that they can make up for it this year, even in spite of supply chain shortages. Regardless, it’s nice to see large footwear brands continually pledging their support for this cause.
Below, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite styles from the QVC Presents FFANY Shoes on Sale event.
Louise et Cie Zarab Pull-On Ankle Bootie
Pull-on booties for the win. These feature a deep tan and black animal print in a stunning calf hair, which will easily take you from fall into winter. They also have elastic goring, so that they’re easy to get on and wear comfortably.
Michael Kors Renee Open-Toe Mules
Mules always make a fashion statement, and there’s no better time to wear them than during the fall. This open-toed pair from Michael Kors features a creamy white sheep leather upper that’s super soft and quilted footbed to make them more comfortable. Go ahead and pair them with your favorite dress, skirt or wide-legged pants.
Lanz Adrienne Vittadini Skimmer Flats
These Adrienne Vittadini flats will add a polished flair to even your most casual outfit. The black slip-ons feature a flexible outsole and an almond-shaped toe, which adds an element of sophistication to the shoe.
Lucky Brand Leigan Casual Knit Sneaker
Not only do these colorful sneakers look the part for the fall season, they’re functional, too. They feature a cushioned footbed and breathable knit upper done in a brunt orange color, which would look just as amazing paired with a flowing autumnal dress as it would with jeans and a t-shirt.
Kork-Ease Prim Suede Oxford Pumps
Oxford pumps have made a comeback, and you won’t hear us complaining about it. These slip-ons feature a cork-infused leather footbed so your foot feels constantly supported. Pair these with bootcut jeans, an oversized sweater and a latte of your choice (but we recommend pumpkin spice).
Born Donella Knit and Leather Ankle Bootie
These booties are available in a pretty chestnut brown for easy outfit pairings. They have stretch goring on the sides, so that they can slide on easily and fit comfortably. They also have a knit leather upper and a soft microsuede lining.
Vince Camuto Men’s Pierson Casual Lace-Up Sneaker
These shoes a leather and suede upper done in trendy camo print, as well as a cushioned insole for all-day wear.
