The Super Bowl Streaker Wasn’t Wearing Much — Except for These Under Armour Sneakers

A man has gone viral after storming the field during Super Bowl LV, wearing nothing but a pink body thong and sneakers.

On Sunday, during the game’s fourth quarter, the streaker ran across the field, sliding down his black sweat shorts to reveal the electric pink bodysuit. As the audience and team players watched in disbelief, the streaker made it to the end zone before being tackled by security.

As for how the streaker managed to run down the field so fast, he perhaps has Under Armour to thank. The jokester was suited up in the brand’s men’s UA Project Rock 3 Training Shoes, a sneaker created in collaboration with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The shoes feature a neon green and black colorway and are made to “help you find boundaries, then push right through them,” Under Armour boasts at the brand’s website.

The sneakers are designed with the company’s UA HOVR technology, which provides a “zero gravity feel” to maintain energy return. They are also equipped with UA Tribase, which “maximizes ground contact” and promotes “natural motion and provides flexibility to grip during lifts.”

Shoppers have praised the shoe for providing “great stability and support for intense training.” The shoe comes in three other colorways and retails for $140 at UnderArmour.com.

On Monday, YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy appeared to take credit for the stunt, writing on Twitter: “We f——- did it” alongside an image of the streaking incident.

While the joke was met with consequences, the moment proved to be entertaining to viewers.

“Super bowl streaker most entertaining thing tonight,” one viewer tweeted.

“Streakers are returning to big sporting events… nature is healing #SuperBowl,” said another.

“That streaker was the most interesting part of the entire Super Bowl!” a different tweet read.

“Streakers got more yards than the chiefs right now #SuperBowl,” wrote another viewer.

Sunday’s game was between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Buccaneers won 31 to 9. The game was kicked off with a performance of “America the Beautiful” by H.E.R. followed by a rendition of the National Anthem by Eric Church and Jazmine Sullivan. Later in the evening, The Weeknd delivered an electrifying halftime show.
