Images of This Year’s Air Jordan 4 ‘Lightning’ Release Surface

One of the most anticipated sneaker releases from Jordan Brand this year is the return of the coveted Air Jordan 4 Retro “Lightning.” Ahead of its drop, a detailed look at the style’s reissue has surfaced.

Sneaker social media account @zSneakerheadz shared images of the Air Jordan 4 “Lightning” on Instagram yesterday, a colorway of Michael Jordan’s fourth signature shoe that hasn’t released since August 2006.

The name of this Air Jordan 4 makeup is attributed to its bold yellow-based color scheme covering the entirety of the nubuck upper as well as the shoelaces. Adding to the look is black netting on the tongue, gray wings panels on the sides, and a dark gray Jumpman branding on the heel tab. Rounding out the look is a white midsole and a gray outsole.

According to @zSneakerheadz, the Air Jordan 4 “Lightning” is releasing on August 7 in full family sizing, which will include men’s, grade school, pre-school and toddler sizes. Although the early drop info was shared by the account, it has yet to be confirmed by Jordan Brand.

In related Air Jordan news, the brand recently unveiled its latest Air Jordan lineup featuring new styles launching throughout this year’s spring and summer seasons.
