Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard has had plenty of memorable performances on the court thus far. One of those many moments will be used as inspiration for the next iteration of his Adidas Dame 7.
ESPN’s Nick DePaula on Twitter shared a first look at Lillard’s current signature basketball shoe in an unreleased colorway that resembles the Oklahoma City Thunder’s team colors and on the footbed is a stat line of 50 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. This specific performance from Lillard took place during the 2019 NBA Playoffs when the Trail Blazers and the Thunder matched up in the first round and finished up in five games after he hit the game-winning shot in front of his home crowd and waved his opponents goodbye.
This latest iteration of the Adidas Dame 7 sports a predominantly navy blue textile upper while light blue accents cover the sock liner and eye stay that extends onto the heel counter. Underneath is a navy Lightstrike midsole that’s paired with orange hits to complete the look.
At the time of publication, the brand has not yet confirmed when this OKC-themed Adidas Dame 7 will be available for purchase.
