Rita Ora broke out one of this season’s boldest trends to celebrate her beau Taika Waititi’s birthday this week.
Attending a dinner party alongside Ashley Benson, Kate Beckinsale, Kristen Stewart and more, the “Phoenix” singer herself had to go bold for the event on Wednesday. Her outfit highlighted a mesh-paneled catsuit complete with a bustier bodice and sheer fabric across the entirety of the piece.
While they’ve been around for decades, catsuits are making a triumphant return to the fashion scene this year. Spotted on the likes of Kylie Jenner, Irina Shayk, Megan Thee Stallion and more, the streamlined silhouette offers an effortlessly chic way to upgrade your everyday attire.
To give her own look another touch of edge, Ora finished out the outfit with knee-high boots. The pointed-toe black pair featured slouchy leather uppers with a patent finish and lifted heel.
Knee-high and thigh-high boots are the must-have boot silhouettes this season. From leather twists on the trend to edgy lace-up styles, you can find the taller shoes on everyone from Ciara to Bella Hadid and Gwen Stefani amongst other major names. In colder temperatures, the silhouettes offer coverage to counter skirts, dresses and shorts as well as provides an extra layer to any leggings or jeans look.
Beyond her chart-topping music career, Ora also has appeared in campaigns for DKNY Fragrances, Roberto Cavalli and Rimmel London, and she serves as an ambassador for Escada and Thomas Sabo. Most recently, she was one of the few stars to attend Fendi’s in-person spring ’21 show during Milan Fashion Week.
And Ora’s experience with the footwear industry goes beyond chic street style. The British musician has been a longtime Adidas partner and collaborated with Giuseppe Zanotti in January 2019 for an exclusive collection of shoes. This year, she also announced a partnership with German footwear retailer Deichmann. And if that wasn’t enough, this month the award-winning singer joined forces with ShoeDazzle again for a series of spring footwear styles that all retail for under $100. Coming with everything from thigh-high boots to trending utilitarian styles, the pairs can be found at ShoeDazzle.com with wallet-friendly price tags.
