Rita Ora is bringing back this beloved trend from 2020 just in time for summer.

The “Phoenix” musician took a break from filming “The Voice: Australia” this weekend, hitting the beach to soak up the sunny weather down under. For the waterside outing, Ora went bold in a neon orange and white string bikini top with coordinating bottoms. She then layered in a selection of chunky necklaces, gold earrings and 2000s-era beaded bracelets for a glam touch.

The final accessory for the day at the shore came in the form of a trending gold anklet.

Anklets became a must-have accessory throughout the 1990s and have since experienced a revival in tandem with a revitalization of major ’90s style trends, including square-toe footwear, mom jeans and platforms. In 2020, anklets served as an easy way to add glitz to an ensemble, even while going barefoot in the comfort of one’s own home. You can find them on stars near and far including Vanessa Hudgens, Saweetie, Kylie Jenner and, of course, Rita Ora.

Earlier in the weekend, the British singer showed off another glam waterside look as she lounged by the pool in Sydney. This time around, she matched an animal print bustier bikini top to high-rise bottoms and see-through yellow sunglasses.

Beyond her chart-topping music career, the “Let You Love Me” singer also has appeared in campaigns for DKNY Fragrances, Roberto Cavalli and Rimmel London, and she serves as an ambassador for Escada and Thomas Sabo. Most recently, she was one of the few stars to attend Fendi’s in-person spring ’21 show during Milan Fashion Week.

And Ora’s experience with the footwear industry goes beyond chic street style. She has been a longtime Adidas partner and collaborated with Giuseppe Zanotti in January 2019 for an exclusive collection of shoes. Last year, she also announced a partnership with German footwear retailer Deichmann.
