Miley Cyrus brought her signature rockstar edge to her performance ahead of the NCAA March Madness Final Four games.
Performing live in Indianapolis, Ind., for a socially distanced crowd last night, the “Plastic Hearts” musician showed off both her strong vocal cords and her bold style on stage. The monochrome look included a cropped black tuxedo-style vest with matching wide-fit pants.
Elevating the look further, the finishing touch came in the form of sleek patent boots that fit right over the knee; the Christian Louboutin buckle-coated design was set atop a sharp pointed toe and a towering stiletto heel that appeared to measure close to 5 inches in height.
As she arrived in Indiana on Friday, the Disney Channel alumna kicked off the weekend with a colorful ensemble. The red-centric look featured a boldly printed coat with a matching graphic tee and the wildest leopard-print pants. To balance out the elongated hem of her trousers, Cyrus slipped on a set of ultra chunky black platform boots for a supported yet bold footwear moment.
The singer is no stranger to a stir-causing style moment. While she is best known for her hit albums and box office films, the “Hannah Montana” actress also dips her toes in the fashion and shoe space. The former Disney Channel star made an appearance on the runway at the Marc Jacobs’ fall ’20 show and has also sat front row at shows for top labels such as Tom Ford and Saint Laurent. She also has worked with Converse on a series of pride-filled shoe collections.
The Converse collaborator has too been vegan for years, leading her to oftentimes embrace wardrobe pieces that are cruelty-free. In fact, at last year’s Met Gala, Cyrus teamed a Saint Laurent minidress with a custom vegan leather version of the brand’s Paige platform sandals. Her other go-to designers for fashion and apparel include any label that can give her look a standout edge — think Versace, Saint Laurent, Alexandre Vauthier and Azalea Wang amongst others.
