Chrissy Teigen’s latest look really caught John Legend by surprise — but not in the way you think.
The model shared a peek into her true at-home attire on Instagram last night, showing off her tank top and briefs for her musician husband. The real kicker of the look, though, was Teigen’s pair of thigh-high white compression socks.
“John won’t acknowledge my new compression socks,” joked the media personality in the caption of her post. Compression socks work to increase blood flow to the legs and low extremities, offering more pressure and making them ideal as well for people who spend most of their day on their feet or traveling on planes. Most pairs are made with a blend of synthetic fabrics that provide a snug yet stretchy fit and come in a range of lengths and firmness to fit any need or preference.
When she isn’t in her comfy attire, you can find Teigen herself in a mix of elevated attire. Earlier this week, in fact, she joined her hubby for a date night in all-black style. The model’s ensemble included a blazer-style dress with a fishnet cutout across the torso and thin-strap sandals to match.
As for Teigen herself, the model’s own footwear and apparel closet includes an endless list of designer names such as Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Valentino and Aquazzura to name a few. Beyond her personal style choices, the cookbook author previously appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and serves as an ambassador for Procter & Gamble; she has modeled in campaigns for the likes of Ugg, The Gap, Revolve, Quay Eyewear and more throughout her impressive career.
