Bella Hadid channeled the late 1990s and early 2000s with ease this week for her latest photo shoot.
The supermodel previewed her look on Instagram last night, tapping Marc Jacobs for the retro-inspired ensemble. The outfit highlighted the American brand’s new little black dress silhouette — a spaghetti-strap design with a scooped neckline and a set of matching gloves to tout, all for $295 on the label’s website.
Accenting the outfit further with a trending yellow shoulder bag, Hadid then topped off the bold ensemble with a set of unmissable boots. The purple platform-style included an almost knee-high fit with a square-toe front and a curved heel, measuring over 6 inches in height.
Earlier in the month, Hadid gave her signature 2000s-inspired style a grungy twist as she ventured out during Paris Fashion Week.
Making a Starbucks run in the French fashion capital, the model opted for a punk-chic outfit that layered a leather vest over a collared shirt and a classic black tie; also matched to menswear-inspired, loose-fitting pants, the unique vest buckled up with silver hardware and featured a biker-style design across the back. She also included the celeb-favorited Evolvetogether face mask for precaution.
As for footwear, the media personality revisited her go-to sneakers that she’s been frequenting abroad. The buzzy pair comes from Travis Scott’s Jordan Brand collaboration; the Air Jordan 1 Low pair features mocha and black mixed uppers with a classic Swoosh on the medial side and a unique inverted white Swoosh on the lateral side. Laced up with black laces, the style comes complete with Cactus Jack logos and caricatures from Scott’s label.
When it comes to everyday fashion, the younger Hadid sister opts for shoes from Givenchy along with Prada, Solomon, Zara, Dr. Martens, New Balance and more, returning to a grungier footwear feel almost every time. For red carpet events and fancier get-togethers, the model oftentimes steps out in designs courtesy of Dior, Alexander Wang and Tom Ford amongst others.
Her modeling career has made her the face of campaigns for Jacquemus, Chanel and Helmut Lang in the past few seasons alone; she previously walked the runway for every name in the book, too, from Marc Jacobs to Miu Miu and Burberry.
