Emma Roberts announced the birth of her son last night in the chicest way.
The “Unfabulous” alumna revealed on Instagram yesterday that she and her boyfriend Garrett Hedlund welcomed the birth of their first child, Rhodes Robert Hedlund. To share the news, Roberts cuddled up to the newborn in color-coordinating orange looks; the actress herself opted for a flowing orange dress from Stella McCartney as she wrapped her son in a Brixton Phoenix Sundown swaddle.
To follow in the footsteps of Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Kourtney Kardashian and more, Roberts then kept the look on a color scheme with her selection of footwear. The “Nancy Drew” actress tapped the 2020 FNAA Emerging Talent of the Year recipient, Andrea Wazen, in a set of slip-on tangerine sandals.
The Lebanese designer’s Gloria silhouette comes set atop a 3.5-inch heel with a trending square-toe front; formed with subtly pebbled uppers, you can shop Roberts’ mules of choice for $475 at AndreaWazen.com.

2020 was a whirlwind year for designer Andrea Wazen herself. While she ended the year on a high note receiving her FNAA in December, she experienced a series of lows as an explosion hit her hometown of Beirut, killing more than 150 people, injuring thousands and demolishing her store and offices in the city. Still, the footwear connoisseur preserved, dedicating her spring ’21 collection to the place she calls home.
“I was on a train going so fast, and then I was able to sit down and have time with my thoughts and remember the purpose of my brand,” Wazen told FN when reflecting on the year. “I am a designer that does luxury but there’s a message behind the shoes that I make. The most important thing is being human, being kind and being good. We tend to forget this in fashion. This year I was able to figure that out.”
As for Roberts herself, the star continued putting on chic looks and serving up stylish outfit inspiration throughout her pregnancy and time in quarantine. The “Scream Queens” actress debuted a mix of en vogue maternity ensembles since announcing her pregnancy in August. The looks include everything from polka dot dresses with impressive 4-inch Miu Miu heels to Tory Burch floral frocks with square-toe boots — and you can’t forget her favorite footwear style in the later trimesters: Birkenstock sandals.
