Converse just dropped another batch of its cult-favorite sneakers with Comme des Garçons.
Shoppers can snag the Converse x Play Comme des Garçons Chuck 70 Sneakers today at converse.com for $150. The classic sneaker is available in both a low and high top silhouette. Shoppers can choose from classic black or milk-white, a nod to the Japanese fashion house’s signature neutral color palette. The shoe also features Comme des Garçons’ signature heart-and-eyes logo, imagined by founder Rei Kawakubo and New York graphic artist Filip Pagowski.
The limited-edition shoe has gained a lot of traction since its launch in 2015. Loved by both men and women, the classic but contemporary sneaker continues to be a favorite for the fashion crowd, among the numerous sneaker and designer collabs.
The high fashion sneaker’s wallet-friendly price may be a contributing factor to its popularity as well as its modern update to one of Converse’s most popular silhouettes. The Converse x Play Comme des Garçons Chuck 70 Sneaker features a smaller toe box and a higher midsole finished in white.
The shoe also features the same reinforced contrast canvas heel strips, thick cotton laces, nickel hardware and a cushioned insole for added comfort as other sneakers from the shoe brand.
The Converse x Play Comme des Garçons Chuck 70 Sneakers is available now on converse.com for $150.
