Allbirds just rolled out a new shoe that’s destined to be a customer hit.
Called the Wool Piper, the classic cup sole sneaker silhouette gets a unique twist featuring the brand’s signature merino wool upper that’s soft and breathable. The style is now available in four neutral core colorways and one seasonal option for $95 on Allbirds.com as well as in Allbirds’ brick-and-mortar stores. The new casual sneaker comes in both men’s and women’s sizes.
Shoppers who want to snag the new style from Allbirds also have the option of purchasing the Wool Piper sneaker on the brand’s newly launched app. Available exclusively on IOS, the Allbirds app lets customers shop exclusive products and experience the brand’s virtual try-on feature. Shoppers can also stay up to date with the brand’s latest launches as well as choose their carbon fund offsets when using the app.

Allbirds announced yesterday that it had closed a Series E funding round of $100 million from asset management firm Franklin Templeton, alongside T. Rowe Price, Baillie Gifford, TDM Growth Partners, Rockefeller Capital Management, as well as additional new and returning investors.
FN reported that Allbirds stated the acquired company funds will be used to continue its expansion into new categories, build on its brick-and-mortar-stores and grow its international business. Currently, the brand operates 21 stores in the United States, Asia, Europe and New Zealand.
The brand continues to release styles loved even by notable figures such as President Barack Obama. In addition to a few collabs and special-edition releases, Allbirds also launched its first running shoe, The Dasher, in April. The Wool Piper is Allbird’s newest casual style that is perfect for on-the-go.
