Cole Haan has a new footwear collection on the way, and with it, the brand is introducing an art project focused on togetherness.
The latest line from Cole Haan is 4.Zerogrand, a collection for men and women that the company describes as an evolution of its comfort-focused, versatile and forward-thinking dress shoe line. The lineup, according to the brand, “is the pinnacle representation of beautifully crafted utility, merging a classic wingtip upper with a versatile, engineered performance outsole.”
The brand is introducing 4.Zerogrand with four shoes. For men, Cole Haan will release the Wingtip Oxford and the Plain Toe Oxford. The women’s shoes include the Stitchlite Oxford and the Loafer. The looks are equipped with plush triple-density foam cushioning, lightweight and durable multi-surface traction TPU outsoles and classic styled uppers made with modern materials and construction.
The Cole Haan 4.Zerogrand collection is available now in its U.S. stores, via Colehaan.com and in select international stores. Prices range from $170 to $230, and more styles are scheduled to come in winter ’20 and spring ’21.
“Cole Haan and Zerogrand have set the standard for footwear innovation since July 2014, and the 4.Zerogrand Collection is an evolution of how we continue to write new rules of footwear,” Cole Haan brand president David Maddocks said in a statement. “To celebrate the latest innovation, we’ve collaborated with six extraordinary artists to provide their unique perspective on how we can come together to redefine the rules of work.”
The #WriteNewRules project, according to the brand, was created for artists “to share their points of view on how the world can, and should work as we look forward together.” Artists who created the posters in the project come from around the world and include Shantell Martin, Frank Morrison, Lauren Tsai and others. Although Cole Haan is not selling them, the brand is launching an artist spotlights starting Sept. 16 where the first 50 shoppers of a 4.Zerogrand look will receive a signed poster, and they will be available digitally via Colehaan.com/writenewrules.
