According to Crocs, once the product is on sale, the foam clog brand will assign a random spot to the user in the virtual line. Once it is the user’s turn and it’s noon ET, shoppers will have ten minutes to score a pair. The brand is limiting one pair per customer.

The “Glow Up” Classic Clog is a nod to the Puerto Rican pop star’s album YHLQMDLG. The all-white shoe is covered in Jibbitz charms inspired by Bad Bunny and outer space. The charms also include classic glow-in-the-dark stars that add a nostalgically cool touch to the footwear collab.

In the past two years, Crocs have become a favorite footwear choice among younger consumers, specifically the Gen Z crowd. The foam clog has appeared on several social media channels including Instagram, Twitter and TikTok. The comfortable shoe has also risen to prominence amid the pandemic as casual slip-on footwear continues to dominant while students learn remotely.

Bad Bunny’s mark on the fashion and footwear world symbolizes a growing presence of Latinx fashion influencers who are beginning to take hold of the industry. The Puerto Rican reggaeton star continues to draw fans with his bold style, including a jacket that featured 13,000 Swarovski crystals he wore during his halftime performance with Jennifer Lopez, Shakira and J Balvin during the Super Bowl LIV halftime show.
The singer’s collab with Crocs shows just how much star power and fashion influence Bad Bunny has with the Gen Z audience.
