Lou Williams and the Los Angeles Clippers faced the Denver Nuggets in a critical Game 7 last night during the Conference Semifinals of the NBA Playoffs. And for the matchup, the three-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year wore a bold pink pair of the Peak Taichi Flash sneakers.
The baller laced up the look from the China-based athletic brand, which is executed with textile and synthetic leather uppers, a TPU support device added for stability and a rubber outsole made to handle the wear and tear of the basketball court.
The specific Peak Taichi Flash that Williams wore was dressed in pink and white hues. The upper featured a floral print pattern and the midsole was predominantly white with pink speckles throughout. The look was completed with a pink outsole.
Although the pink iteration is not available for sale, there are other colorways of the shoe out now with pricing starting at $120. On Amazon, for instance, the popular red, white and blue “Underground Goat” iteration comes with a $130 price tag.
Although Williams’ sneakers are getting a lot of attention today, last night was the final time fans will see the baller on the court this season. The Clippers fell to the Nuggets by a score of 104-89 in Game 7, bringing the team’s NBA Playoffs run to an end.
