A popular Air Jordan 1 High style could possibly be receiving a new makeover next year.
According to the sneaker leaker social media account @Soleheatonfeet, a new “White/Orange/Black” color scheme for the NBA icon Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe will be hitting shelves in summer ’21. Given its far-off release date, images of the latest iteration have yet to leak but a mock-up depiction shared by @zSneakerheadz suggests that it will have a color blocking reminiscent of the iconic “Black Toe” colorway while donning the hue of the coveted “Shattered Backboard” makeup.
It boasts a white-based leather upper with contrasting black overlays serving as the mudguard, eyelets, and Swoosh branding on the sides. The shoe’s standout details are the vibrant orange accents on the heel counter and ankle collar, which sits atop a white midsole and an orange rubber outsole.
At the time of publication, the release details for this iteration of the Air Jordan 1 High hasn’t been confirmed by Jordan Brand, but it’s reportedly arriving on the SNKRS app and at select retailers later summer ’21 for a $170 price tag.
In related Air Jordan news, Union Los Angeles has announced the release details surrounding its upcoming collection with Jordan Brand, which includes two iterations of the Air Jordan 4 along with a new Air Jordan Delta Mid “Off Noir” and the Air Jordan Zoom ’92 “Guava.”
