Kristin Cavallari made us sentimental for summer trends with her latest look.
The “Laguna Beach” alumna took to the beach to shoot the spring ’21 collection for her Uncommon James jewelry brand yesterday and brought a few of the upcoming season’s biggest trends for the occasion. Her look teamed an off-the-shoulder, lace-trimmed mini dress with recognizable high-top sneakers.
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star debuted all the way back in the 1920s and, almost a century later, still remains one of the most popular sneaker silhouettes across the globe. The pair is known for its comfy-casual appeal, lacing up across the foot with smooth canvas uppers and striped midsole. Topped off with a signature All Star patch, Cavallari’s choice of a classic all-white Chuck Taylor retails for just $55 at Converse.com.
Lately, when it isn’t trending looks on-set or chic vacation looks, Kristin Cavallari’s outfits center around fitness and athletic styles. The media personality’s Instagram feed has been filled with workout inspiration and impressive skill videos, including a few takes at difficult pull-ups. For workout-ready footwear, she prefers one brand in particular: Vionic. She often favors the brand’s $130 Giselle style featuring a standout cut-out top, mesh uppers and a multifaceted lacing system. She previously has sported the Alaina silhouette as well with its neoprene and knit fabric uppers. Finished with adjustable bungee laces, the shoes retail on Vionicshoes.com for $120.
When it comes to footwear, though, the 33-year-old usually prefers teetering stilettos for her formal occasions — she told FN in 2017 it’s “always” heels over flats. Her collection, highlighting styles from likes of Gianvito Rossi, Prada and Stuart Weitzman could be seen in her former TV series “Very Cavallari.”
