Kim Kardashian opted for a dress-up look for dinner at a friend’s place in Malibu, Calif. this weekend.
Making her way to an acquaintance’s home for a Sunday meal, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star showed off her signature bold style in a unique twist on off-duty style. The outfit included a sheer blue top layered over a white tank and white form-fitting leggings. The finishing touch of the look came with Kim’s unconventional addition of white backless chaps buckled over her pants.
As for footwear, the Skims founder kept up the standout pieces of her outfit combo with double-strap snakeskin mules. The pair came set with an almond toe and a thickened upper, all atop a lifted stiletto heel. Giuseppe Zanotti offers a similar sandal silhouette with pairs once selling for $750 at Net-a-Porter.
Kim’s chaps on Sunday resemble a pair that the media mogul previously wore with a bikini back in May. The look layered a white Skims bikini-style top with matching bottoms and the pair of peek-a-boo white leather chaps with a belted waist, zippered leg and snap button hem.
And the fun didn’t stop there. Instead of wearing a classic pump or sandal, Kim brought out a set of trending heels from 2019 FNAA Designer of the Year, Amina Muaddi. The fully PVC slingback shoe boasts a pointed toe with a glittering crystal brooch and a signature flared heel. Though they are long since sold-out, the Amina Muaddi Begum glass pumps, which resemble Cinderella’s classic glass slippers, retailed for $960 at Matches.com.
When it comes to overall personal style, Kim oftentimes favors apparel from her husband Kanye West’s Yeezy collections for footwear and apparel in addition to sneakers and boots from his Adidas Yeezy line. She styles the pieces with coordinating looks from Balmain, Balenciaga, Stuart Weitzman and Bottega Veneta.
Beyond stylish looks on and off the set of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Kim also dipped her toes into the fashion and beauty world with a mix of ventures. She created her Skims shapewear line in 2019, featuring a mix of inclusive designs and now affordable face masks too. Additionally, the media personality also founded her own makeup line, KKW Beauty, last fall.
