Kerry Washington took the reigns as the host for the third night of the 2020 Democratic National Convention last night.
Introducing the likes of former President Barack Obama and Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris, the “Scandal” star graced the virtual stage in a pinstripe navy and white double-breasted suit. The design comes from Alexandre Vauthier’s pre-fall collection, with similar blazers from previous releases retailing for $2,492 and matching pants priced at $1,005 at Farfetch.com.
As for footwear, the actress opted for a set of classic black pointed-toe pumps with a rounded vamp from Christian Louboutin.
Joining Washington as a host for the four-day event was none other than “Black-Ish” star, Tracee Ellis Ross, who hosted the second night on Aug. 18. For her time on stage, Ellis Ross decided on a draped maroon and black Proenza Schouler dress, accented by patent pointed-toe black pumps and bold hoop earrings

Kicking off the event on Aug. 17 was Eva Longoria, serving as the first host for this year’s virtual convention. As she started off the speeches, the “Desperate Housewives” alumna opted for a soft draped Salvatore Ferragamo dress, with towering nude sandals to tout.
The Democratic National Convention highlights a few of the biggest names spanning politics and entertainment in support of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his pick for VP, Kamala Harris. Amongst the major political figures set to make appearances are Michelle Obama, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Andrew Cuomo and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez amongst others; Jennifer Hudson, Billie Eilish, Billy Porter, The Chick and John Legend have been tapped as well as the featured performers for the event.
