Ellie Goulding looked red hot in her performance-ready look in London.
Leaving the Victoria & Albert Museum after a private gig last night, the “Love Me Like You Do” singer stepped out in head-to-toe red. The outfit draped an ankle-length red coat over a cutout red bralette and matching spandex shorts
On her feet, Goulding continued the monochromatic theme of her look with a set of wild boots. The Chelsea-inspired pair featured elasticated goring across both sides, sleek uppers and pull tabs across the front and back. The black lifted lug-sole tread falls in line with trending silhouettes from Prada and Bottega Veneta amongst other brands, pulling vintage utilitarian vibes from the 1980s and 1990s.

The chunky boot silhouette is expected to be everywhere this fall. Just yesterday, Hailey Baldwin stepped out in a similar footwear style courtesy of celebrity-favorited brand Bottega Veneta. The brand’s BV Tire silhouette is made from smooth vegetable-tanned leather uppers, all set atop a 2.2-inch rubber-stamped outsole with three-dimensional texture. Similar colorways to Hailey Baldwin’s bold choice retail for $1,150 at BottegaVeneta.com.
As for Ellie Goulding herself, the Brit Awards recipient pulls off everything from Dr. Martens combat boots to stunning Sophia Webster butterfly heels and Alexandre Birman caged stilettos. You can oftentimes find the singer sitting from row during fashion month with invitations to the biggest brands — think Stella McCartney, Chloe and Emporio Armani amongst other major labels.
In the past, Goulding has dipped her toes into the footwear world thanks to a collaboration with German shoe retailer Deichmann. Joining forces in 2017, the two fashion players went on to release a line of sneakers, sandals, heels, wedges, espadrilles and mules. She additionally has partnered with Nike for a campaign in 2015 in addition to working with Pantene in previous years.
