Over the last couple weeks, plenty of famous faces have stepped out for the 2018 Wimbledon tennis championships to cheer on star athletes like Serena Williams and Roger Federer — doing so in their best designer duds. The historical and prestigious tournament, held at the England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, was something like a fashion show, with A-list celebs and royals turning up in ultrastylish summer outfits. For a guide to the best looks, keep reading.
Pippa Middleton, for one, arrived for the fourth day of Wimbledon on July 5 sporting a white sleeveless frock featuring ruffly shoulders paired with blue ankle-tie espadrille wedges. The pregnant 34-year-old accessorized with round sunglasses, a straw hat and a cream-colored clutch bag, while brother James Middleton looked dapper in a double-breasted navy suit jacket worn with white pants and coordinating navy tassel loafers.
Over a week later on July 14, older sister Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, the newly minted Duchess of Sussex, made an appearance to cheer on Serena Williams in the Royal Box at the Wimbledon finals. The mom of three donned an off-white printed dress with tan suede pointy-toed Gianvito Rossi pumps and added a nude leather Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily handbag as well as a Cartier Ballon Bleu stainless steel watch.
Meanwhile, her sister-in-law showed off a blue and white striped Ralph Lauren top teamed with white silk wide-leg trousers from the same designer. An Altuzarra Ghianda black leather shoulder bag and a Maison Michel Virginie hat topped off her look.
On the same day, “Westworld” star Thandie Newton attended the finals in a statement-making floral printed black jumpsuit paired with chunky, sky-high black and white striped platform sandals from Aquazzura. She incorporated a vibrant red lip and a purple chain shoulder bag to complete her ensemble.
On July 15, Emma Watson appeared in a neutral-toned vintage Ralph Lauren shirtdress cinched at the waist with a brown leather belt, pointy white ankle strap pumps. She polished things off with a fedora and an Olympia Le-Tan book clutch.
