The duchess proved her savvy shopping skills yet again today, stepping out in a relatively inexpensive Zara dress alongside Prince George and Princess Charlotte to watch Prince William compete for the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy.
Middleton opted for a summery blue and white striped dress that retails for just $70. The still-available dress features vertical gathering at the front and back with a belt at the waist in the same material.
While Middleton opted for a casual look, she added some height to her frame with heels, choosing beige espadrille wedges that appeared to be by Russell & Bromley.
Prince George — wearing a navy shirt, beige shorts and navy sneakers — played around with a polo mallet in the grass. The 4-year-old also played with a host of other toys that his mother had packed in her tote bag.
Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte did handstands, sending her mother into a fit of giggles. The 3-year-old sported a pink patterned dress with oversized sunglasses and navy sneakers as she supported her father and practiced her gymnastics skills.
Prince Louis — who was born in April — was not there for the outing.
While the royal family enjoyed a relaxed afternoon, they sported more formal garb yesterday for the Trooping the Colour parade in London. Middleton wore an Alexander McQueen dress for those festivities, and Prince William swapped yesterday’s military garb for his polo uniform.
