If there is one thing London and Milan previewed for the upcoming men’s fashion shows in Paris and New York, it’s that sneakers still rule.
Cool kicks were everywhere on the streets (and runways) of Milan, and not surprisingly, we’re expecting them to be big for the rest of the shows.
On the street we spied plenty of iconic Vans styles from the Sk8-Hi to the classic lace-up. The Adidas Superstar and Stan Smiths reigned supreme too, with plenty of sightings of the ever-popular shoe styles.
While there were plenty of the classic styles to be seen, we also spied a few bold statement sneakers with patterns and texture that certainly lent themselves for a true street-wear moment.
Another Milan trend? We noticed the classic white sneaker hasn’t gone anywhere this season. While the classic court sneaker has long been an easy and reliable staple, it looks like fashion isn’t planning to give up the court sneaker trend anytime soon.
