Kanye West said his “The Life of Pablo” pop-up store, which he hosted last week in New York, sold $1 million worth of merchandise.
“They called me crazy, and pointed fingers,” he wrote on Twitter late Tuesday night. “But there is no other brand that could sell $1 million dollars of clothing in 2 days from 1 location!!!”

As previously reported, the three-day shopping event at 83 Wooster St. saw crowds of hundreds, with some arriving as early as 4:30 p.m. EST last Thursday.

The musician and designer sold T-shirts, bomber jackets and sweatshirts associated with his new album. The items were an extension of the merchandise sold at West’s Yeezy Season 3 presentation and a listening event for “The Life of Pablo” that was held in New York in February.
West’s London spokesperson could not be reached for comment at press time.
The hip-hop star previously hosted store openings for his 2013 album, “Yeezus,” and the 2011 Jay Z collaboration “Watch the Throne.”
This is just one of West’s latest Twitter rants. Recently, he tweeted that Adidas will be making 1 million pairs of Yeezys this year, while also opening up new factories.
