Today, Keds launched its latest collab with Parisian textile manufacturer Malhia Kent. The collection includes revamped versions of the Keds’ iconic Champion, Triple Decker and slip-on outfitted with textiles from the famed French Malhia Kent mill — think bold colors including coral to hot pink, as well as basket-inspired weaves and golden eyelet details.
The looks all retail for $125 and are available at Keds.com.
The mill was founded by Eve Corrigan in 1987, and the various color schemes and texture combinations have been used by big-name designers Karl Lagerfeld and Alber Elbaz. According to Keds insiders, the brand wanted to support a women-owned business, which relates to the brand’s Ladies First female-empowerment marketing platform.
Keds is celebrating its 100 year anniversary this year.
