Update 1/27: Kanye West has changed the name of his album from “Swish” to “Waves.”
On Tuesday, Footwear News reported that Kanye West will be livestreaming the premiere of his album, “Waves,” and his Yeezy Season 3 fashion show at Madison Square Garden in movie theaters around the world.
Now it’s official. Ticketmaster has posted information on how the public can purchase tickets to attend West’s show at Madison Square Garden in New York on Feb. 11 at 4 p.m. — the first day of New York Fashion Week. There will be an American Express pre-sale on Jan. 27, a venue pre-sale on Jan. 28 and the general public sale on Jan. 29. Ticketmaster has not posted how much tickets will cost.
It’s likely there will be frenzy as fans attempt to get tickets. Customers have experienced trouble in the past trying to get their hands on a pair of coveted Yeezys.
Tickets are already on sale in Europe to watch the show in movie theaters. There is also a site called tickets.kanyewest.com that is live, but doesn’t have anything posted yet.
