Alexa Chung, FN‘s 2015 Style Influencer of the Year, is putting her stamp on another fashion collection.
Today, Chung introduced her Archive by Alexa collection, which was done with U.K. department store Marks & Spencer. She appeared at the Marble Arch London store wearing a dress from the collection paired with heeled ankle boots.
Chung and the M&S team took inspiration from the Marks & Spencer Company Archive in Leeds, England. The collection includes one pair of block-heeled strappy sandals.
“I have always had an affection for Marks & Spencer,” said Chung. “I am thrilled to be part of this special and unique project. There was something very touching about looking back through the British fashion and social history for which M&S is synonymous.”
Steve Rowe, Marks & Spencer executive director of general merchandise, said, “Using our expertise and classic designs and Alexa’s unique eye and approach to style, our collaboration was born. A new womenswear collection, curated by Alexa, with heritage firmly at its heart.”
The 31-piece Archive by Alexa collection is available online and in select stores.
Chung previously worked with brands such as AG Jeans and Madewell and recently co-founded a fashion app called Villoid.
