Women’s Winter Boots For Snowy Weather

The East Coast is bracing for Winter Storm Jonas, the first blizzard of 2016. It’s expected to hit the Washington, D.C., and Baltimore areas hardest, with 20 inches of snow possible in some areas.

If you don’t have a good pair of snow boots, it’s time to act. Whether you’re planning to head outside for some fun in the snow or hunker down indoors, there’s a boot to keep you warm and dry.

For those venturing outside, there are lots of practical styles. The North Face makes both tall and short waterproof boots, many of which feature a lining to keep feet extra dry.

Pajar’s boots with shearling lining have a lug sole that’ll give you plenty of traction when walking on icy sidewalks. If you already own a pair of Hunter rubber rainboots, the brand offers a down-filled sock liner to provide extra warmth.

If you’re staying inside but still want to look stylish and stay warm, there are a few great options. Jimmy Choo’s Moon Boots and 3.1 Phillip Lim’s shearling-and-leather laceup boots are high-fashion options.
