Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn character in the hotly anticipated “Suicide Squad” wrecks havoc in heels.
The costume, featuring Jeremy Scott x Adidas leather boots, was unveiled Wednesday during a preview of “DC Universe: The Exhibit,” which opens to the public on May 24 at Warner Bros. Studio Tour in Burbank, Calif.

The footwear from Scott’s 2014 collaboration with the sportswear brand includes a 130 mm heel, lace-ups and the signature Adidas stripes.
The killer kicks worn by the psychotic evildoer Harley Quinn are teamed with fishnet stockings, short-shorts, a distressed top and bomber jacket.
Margot’s co-stars Will Smith and Jared Leto are also among the characters featured in the exhibit. “Suicide Squad” opens Aug. 5.

“The costume went through a lot of different variations,” a Warner Bros. Studio Tour guide tells Footwear News. “This is one of so many different prototypes of Harley Quinn, and they finally got down to those shoes.”
Costumes from “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice” are also presented, including Gal Gadot’s updated Wonder Woman ensemble and knee-high boots, which are made of plastic.

“It’s a really thick plastic that’s easy to maneuver so that’s not too heavy, but looks heavy on camera,” the tour guide explains. “The costume is based on the new 52 [DC Comics series] Wonder Woman. She’s very gladiator — even the shoes — they are such battle heels for a woman. She comes from Amazonia, so that’s the intent behind what she wears.”
Unleashing their inner-fan boys, Kiss rocker Gene Simmons and L.A. Lakers baller Jordan Clarkson participated in the exhibit. “I kind of grew up on this,” Clarkson, who wore Vans sneakers, tells FN. “It just makes you feel like a big kid all over again.”
