Dr. Martens is in love. The British cult brand has been hit by Cupid’s arrow, sparking a collection of Valentine’s Day styles in classic red-and-white with bold heart details.
According to the company, “The Made to Break Hearts” collection is inspired by those who stand for love of all kinds. While the brand is showing its softer side, it remains committed to its hard-edged iconic silhouettes.
The Pascal boot, retailing for $130, is done in red with oversized white hearts decorating the uppers, while the companion 1461 oxford at $110 is available in white with a red heart. the pair of looks keep the brand’s yellow stitching, grooved sole and heel loop in tact, making them easily recognizable as Docs. To complete the look, Dr. Martens is also offering Valentine’s Day T-shirts in both red and white with sequins appliqué hearts. They are available exclusively in Dr. Martens stores and retail for $35.
Dr. Martens is also using its classic silhouettes as a canvas for spring ’16 styles that include the d’Antonio Collection. It features the Pascal boot and 1461 oxford decorated with art work inspired by The Triumph of Camillus by 15th century Italian Renaissance painter, d’Antonio.
