Lucy Liu showcases her first collaborative shoe with Bruno Magli in the luxury brand’s latest campaign.
Styled to perfection in a cream-colored dress, the actress presents the Antonia 105 pump from the label’s fall-winter 2016 collection in a recently released image.
The high heel is designed in a nude color around the signature “M”-shaped vamp and features a mirrored silver heel and counter, retailing for $495.
In another image, Liu stands in front of a staircase wearing the Stelda round-toe chunky pumps in black. The shoes retail for $450.
Bruno Magli announced in February plans to reboot its women’s footwear line in the fall after a three-year hiatus, tapping Liu as the category’s brand ambassador.
In tandem with the new collection, the label will relaunch its website on Monday with enriched content and features that improve the e-retail experience for customers.
The website will include new product categories for footwear, women’s, men’s, socks and belts; a “Shop the Look” portal; and an “Archive” section that celebrates the brand’s heritage. A men’s leather goods section will arrive in September, and a full tailoring program will be introduced soon thereafter.
Bruno Magli launched its website in September with a men’s footwear collection after the brand was acquired a year earlier by Marquee Brands, a licensing and development company sponsored by Neuberger Berman Private Equity.
Mia Rothstein, Marquee Brands senior vice president of brand management, told Footwear News that with the Italian label celebrating its 80th anniversary and a return to women’s footwear, “it was natural” to update the website to “reflect all that we have accomplished in the last year.”
“Eighty years ago, Bruno Magli started the brand with a small collection of women’s shoes. Eight decades later, we couldn’t be more proud to unveil our women’s collection in the U.S. exclusively on BrunoMagli.com,” Rothstein explained.
