Classic-is-cool brand SeaVees has enlisted another retro style for its latest range.
The original casual sneaker label has partnered with Taylor Stitch’s workshop on the 08/69 Mariners Boot, a reissue of the late ‘60s-‘70s “coral creepers” (or “swim shoes”).

U.S. Naval sea cadets used “coral creepers” for transitioning from swimming to walking or with diving fins.
Available in October for men and women on Taylor Stitch’s workshop webpage and select retailers, the boots retail for $178.

The shoes feature waterproof Ventile duck canvas uppers and a herringbone “grip lock” outsole; they are available in green and peacoat navy.
