Menswear brand Combatant Gentlemen is taking the next step in its product assortment with Friday’s launch of a companion footwear collection. Marketed under the Toecap name, it targets today’s millennial customers and complements the brand’s current offering of accessibly priced wardrobe essentials such as suits, shirts, outerwear, denim and accessories.
The debut shoe collection includes classic oxfords, monk straps, Chelsea boots and moccasins in a range of colors and materials. Price points for the initial collection range from $65 to $80, with all styles available at Combatant Gentlemen.

“Toecap reflects Combat Gent’s mission to help guys get where they need to go,” said Vishaal Melwani, creative director and company co-founder. “This means providing a one-stop head-to-toe shop for our customers. We’re always listening to our guys to gauge both what they want and how we can continue supporting them in exciting ways. Footwear is something our guys have wanted since we launched in 2012, and we’ve been grinding to launch Toecap the right way at the right time.”

Combatant Gentlemen has a unique business strategy. It designs all its clothing in-house, owns its own factories, plants its own cotton and raises its own sheep. By controlling the entire product cycle, it is able to control pricing.
