Bluprint Casual Comfort Shoes Launch With Sneakers And Boots

There’s always room in the closet for a pair of comfortable shoes. This week, San Diego-based Bluprint is stepping into the market with a collection of men’s and women’s casuals that are inspired by the relaxed California lifestyle.

The shoes are built around a proprietary comfort system that’s based on a wider anatomical last that allows for plenty of wiggle room and deconstructed uppers in a range of leathers and fabrics. For underfoot support, comfort and traction, the line sports natural crepe rubber soles.

But it’s what’s inside that really delivers the comfort sensation. The Cloud Imprint insoles feature four millimeters of polyurethane memory foam and two millimeters of slow recovery foam that adjust to the foot over time while still providing ample support.

The men’s collection includes the Newport chukka and Laguna Shop, an over-the-ankle boot. There’s also a variety of athletic-inspired looks, such as the La Costa trainer and the Encinitas plimsoll.

As for women’s styles, choices include the Idlyllwild Slouch boot, the Coachella chukka boot, the La Jolla ballet flat and the Topanga espadrille. Coming in spring ’17: a series of sandals for men and women.

Retail prices range from $79 for sandals to $239 for boots. The shoes are available online and select retailers.
