Children’s shoe brand Plae is helping kids accessorize their look — head to toe. The company last week launched Style of Plae on its website, the first installment as part of a collaboration with stylist Veronica Alvericci.
Alvericci has styled two complete looks that feature Plae shoes, outfitted with looks from other clothing and accessories brands. The featured brands include bigtruck, theMINIclassy, Mini X and Wee Delights. Consumers can click onto the images and order the apparel and accessories directly from the Plae website.
“Style of Plae is a perfect platform for us to highlight stylists and their incredible work and share fun, unique brands that play well with the personality of our shoes,” said Trinh Banh, Plae’s director of brand strategy and media. “We’re especially thrilled to partner with Veronica for the first installment as she brings a unique global viewpoint and East meets West coast style to her work. We’ve long been a fan of the everyday looks she creates for her son and love what she’s done for Style of Plae.”
The site features the Tastemaker, a boys’ look footnoted by Plae’s Ty style, a low-cut athletic style with double-strap closure. For girls, there’s the Maverick, worn with Plae’s Max style, a high-top sneaker with double-strap closure.
According to the company, it plans to continue the program, highlighting other stylists.
