Dr. Martens Teams Up With Cartoon Network For ‘Adventure Time’ Boots

British lifestyle brand Dr. Martens is turning to the telly this spring for a new collaboration with the Cartoon Network. The company is collaborating for the third time with the network’s “Adventure Time” animated series for a collection of styles for kids and adults.

“Adventure Time” is a modern fable that follows the adventures of human boy Finn and his magical dog, Jake, in the mythical post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo.

Previous collaborations have focused on Finn and Jake. The new spring ’16 footwear collection is introducing two other popular “Adventure Time” characters to the shoe collection — BMO and Princess Bubblegum — while series favorite Marceline will get a new boot style.

The Princess Bubblegum boot features wide pink eyelets with pink ribbon laces, white contrast welt stitching and a different face for each toe.

The style for BMO (the living video game system, camera and movie player) comes in teal canvas with embroidered game console details on the toe and lace keeper.

The all-new canvas boot based around Marceline, the centuries-old guitar-playing rocker, features an all-over print of her character, accented with purple stitching and blood-red eyelets.

The shoes will be available for sale at Dr. Martens stores, select retail partners and online, beginning on March 1. Kids’ styles retail for $80 to $115; juniors’ boots from $130 to $150; and adult looks from $130 to $150.
