Aloha, Vans! The Cypress, Calif.-based sneaker brand has released a new series of women’s sneakers with a tropical groove.
The Island Vibes pack, on sale now at Vans.com, features some of the label’s most popular silhouettes updated with Hawaiian-inspired prints, such as a guitar-playing hula dancer, hibiscus flowers and tropical foliage.
The first new print, dubbed Digi Hula, features a photorealistic pattern showing a hula doll dancing across a white, navy or black background. The print is offered on three Vans styles: the Sk8-Hi Reissue high-top, Old Skool mid-cut sneaker and Authentic low-profile laceup.
The Digi Aloha print, meanwhile, features a brightly colored hibiscus flower arrangement that adorns three Vans sneakers: the Sk8-Hi Reissue, Era and Classic Slip-On.
And the last print, the Tropical, comes in three color variations and is offered on six different shoe models, including two women’s-only styles — the Sk8-Hi Slim and Authentic Lo Pro.
Retail prices for the Vans Island Vibes pack range from $55 to $70.
This year, Vans is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and the brand — which is known for best-selling collaborations with Disney, Marc Jacobs, Takashi Murakami and Mötörhead — has been releasing a number of special collections to mark the occasion.
