Under Armour’s latest retail venture is in full swing.
The sportswear brand debuted “UA World of Golf” on Tuesday at its flagship in Chicago’s Magnificent Mile area, featuring a new line of men’s golf footwear as well as men’s, women’s and youth apparel and accessories.
The interactive shop is its first specialty retail experience dedicated to golf — complete with all of the bells and whistles for fans of the sport.
Boasting more than 1,800 square feet of interactive retail space, the store features a VirtualGreen for putting and an indoor swing simulator.
The UA World of Golf also features free alterations, year-round personal shopping, free ship-to-home service, custom embroidery, and a 705-sq.-ft. Jumbotron for viewing games.
Under Armour senior vice president of global retail Susie McCabe said the store highlights “our commitment to golf.”
“This retail experience provides consumers with the opportunity to touch, feel and test the product in-store in an immersive, Under Armour environment that not only informs, but also creates a memorable and tailored shopping experience,” she added.
