Most gyms these days feature TRX equipment, and Under Armour is a favorite footwear brand of fitness enthusiasts. It’s only natural that with today’s health conscious society that the two companies work together.
The latest collaboration from Under Armour and TRX features the reimagined UA SpeedForm AMP training shoe — which was teased on Instagram by both Under Armour and TRX on Instagram throughout the weekend — is in stores now and retails for $130. The UA SpeedForm AMP – TRX Edition is available in two colorways — overcast gray with black and taxi yellow accents, and black with taxi yellow — the latter bearing the same color palette as much of TRX’s equipment.
The shoe is built for the toughest of workouts, with specs built to take abuse such as an external TPU heel counter for support, a speed-lacing system to quickly secure your foot, silicone taping on the forefoot for grip and durability, a molded toe cap, and strategically placed rubber and outsole flex grooves for multisurface traction and flexibility. And not only is the shoe built to be durable, but it is also constructed with comfort in mind, employing Under Armour’s full-length Charged Cushioning sock liner, the brand’s AMP Technology for precision fit, and Micro G foam for cushioned support and responsiveness.
Under Armour’s work with TRX also includes apparel, which the brand said will be in stores in the next few weeks.
