On Tuesday, TMZ spotted New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft in New York.
Kraft, known for his love of sneakers, was wearing a pair of Nike Air Force 1s with his suit, which prompted the TMZ videographer to ask about his shoes.
“You can buy some online next weekend,” Kraft said. For the past two years, Kraft has worked with Nike on Patriots-inspired sneakers to raise money for charity. Nike and Kraft have collaborated on an Air Force 1 and a Lunar Force 1, with all proceeds benefitting the Boys and Girls Club of Boston. Sounds like we should look out for a new pair soon.
TMZ also asked Kraft is Patriots quarterback and Ugg brand ambassador Tom Brady ever gives him pairs of Uggs.
“He does,” said Kraft. “They’re very comfortable.”
When Kraft reemerged, TMZ asked, “Is there one pair of sneakers you own that you value more than the others?”
“Whatever I’m wearing I enjoy,” said Kraft.
Brady, who is also sponsored by Under Armour, once again appeared in Ugg’s ad campaign for fall ’16. This isn’t the first time Brady has gifted Uggs to the Patriots organization. “I’ve given away a lot of slippers over the years to teammates,” he told FN at an Ugg store opening in 2012. “When you walk in in the morning and half the team is wearing the slippers you gave them, it’s pretty cool.”
