Although his Kithland presentation took place nearly a month ago, people are still talking with high praise of Ronnie Fieg’s designs. The Fieg design conversation is sure to continue with his upcoming Cap’n Kith drop this weekend.
Kith and Cap’n Crunch pop-up shops will open in New York and Miami on Saturday, and they will feature apparel and accessories — as well as a new cereal flavor, Cap’n Kith. For the footwear enthusiast, the collection doesn’t feature one of Fieg’s sneaker collabs; instead, you could grab some slippers.
The line boasts a robe and slipper set made of soft coral fleece. The slippers have asymmetrical embroidery — the right slipper reads “Cap’n,” and the left reads “Kith.”
Aside from the robe and slipper set, the collection boasts tees, hoodies, New Era caps, pajama pants and boxers.
Despite the clothing and accessories in the collection, it’s hard to argue that the biggest star of the collab is the cereal.
The new Cap’n Kith flavor will be sold exclusively at the pop-up shops. Available at the shops is a limited-edition supermarket-sized Cap’n Kith cereal box, individually numbered to 500 boasting a gold Mylar bag of cereal — Chocolatey Crunch and mini marshmallow bites. The cereal will also be served in the normal Kith Treats sneaker cereal box, adorned with Cap’n Kith graphics.
The collection will be available at the pop-up shops, and the clothing will also be available via kithnyc.com, starting Saturday. The New York pop-up shop is at 543 Broadway, and it will be open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET (10 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET all days following). Miami’s shop is at 721 Lincoln Road and will be open on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET (10 a.m. to 9 p.m. all days following).
