Rap megastar Meek Mill has teamed up once again with athletic staple Puma for another collab, with two shoes ready to hit shelves for the fall.
The fall ’16 drop from the Philly hip-hop standout and the Germany-based brand utilizes the label’s classic Basket and Blaze of Glory silhouettes. The shoes will arrive in stores on Sept. 6, and can be spotted on the shelves of Foot Action, DTLR, Villa, Shoe Palace and Shoe City.
The Dreamchasers x Puma collaboration, according to the brand, is inspired by Meek Mill’s love for motorbikes. Both styles are designed with materials that resemble what’s used on motorcycle jackets, including quilted uppers with patent leather detailing.
But the collaboration isn’t limited to footwear. Puma and Meek Mill also teamed up for apparel, such as the Meek Tee and Meek SL Hoodie with Dreamchasers-branded taping along the back, the tapered Meek Striker Pant with Puma branding, and the Meek Icon Jacket with Dreamchasers sleeve art.
Meek Mill and Puma released the “Patent Pack” in March 2015, featuring a pair of patent leather signature shoes — the Basket Classic and the Challenge. Prior to the “Patent Pack,” the two teamed up for the “24K White Gold Collection,” which boasted a low white gold Puma Suede Classic and a gold Puma Suede Classic mid.
