Pro skater Davis Torgerson presents his personal style and favorite hometown spots in Minneapolis in a new campaign for DC Shoes.
In the brand’s new Defined By series, released Wednesday, Torgerson showcases a 16-piece collection that he curated from its fall 2016 collection.
“When DC asked me to be featured in the fall ’16 lookbook, I didn’t know how personal and hands-on I could be with the process,” Torgerson explained to Footwear News. “I started out by picking out some of my favorite new products, like the New Jack S and Evan Smith, then picked my hometown to skate around and debut the new DC gear. I’m proud to be from Minneapolis, so coming back to my hometown and hitting up local spots that I grew up skating was awesome.”

The campaign includes DC’s range of new Jack S and Evan Smith shoes.
The Jack S features a suede upper in black or blue, an internal bootie and the label’s IMPACT-I heel cushioning to resist impact and reduce weight. The skate shoes retail for $70.
The Evan Smith line also utilizes IMPACT-I technology in a low-profile silhouette, featuring a rubber toe cap and a vulcanized sole. The shoes retail for $65.
