This Saturday, March 26, is Air Max Day — and in celebration, Nike is keeping the releases coming.
The NikeLab Air Max 1 Royal is the first in NikeLab’s new Royal line, which takes Nike classics to the next level with premium material and construction.
Offered in both black and beige, the Air Max 1 Royal has a synthetic suede upper, a debossed Swoosh and a leather heel wrap. The interior features a leather sockliner and a memory foam collar.
The NikeLab Air Max 1 Royal is available Saturday at Nike.com and in NikeLab stores.
Nike kicked off its Air Max Con event in New York on Thursday. The three-day event is free and runs through Saturday. Air Max Con celebrates the beloved Air Max style with art exhibitions, the opportunity to check out the Air Max Vault, on-site customization and appearances by Nike athletes.
The brand also released the Heat Map pack for kids including Air Max styles. Nike president and CEO Mark Parker, vice president of creative concepts Tinker Hatfield and Fragment Design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara have designed special-edition Air Max sneakers that were released this week.
